Trento

Details
Trenton

It is not a dangerous memory resident boot virus. It hooks INT 13h and writes itself to the MBR of the hard drive and to the boot sector of the floppy disks. The virus “hides” its INT 13h handler: while installing memory resident it scans the BIOS memory for two bytes CDh,18h (INT 18h call), sets INT 13h to there and hooks INT 18h. As a result INT 13h vector points to BIOS INT 18h call which immediately passes control to the virus’ handler.
On September 10 and February 22 the virus displays the message:
-= Trenton A. Breazeale =-
-= So on I worked and waited for my light. =-
-= Not knowing, I settled into my bed; =-
-= That Trenton Breazeale, one calm winter night, =-
-= Went home and put a bullet through his head. =-
-= September 10, 1980 - February 22, 1998 =-
-= R.I.P. Good Buddy. You will never be forgotten. =-
Please Help Somebody Today.
Tomorrow may be too late.
