Users of peer to peer applications such as eMule and Kazaa should make sure their anti virus software has been updated to protect against the W32.Nopir.D worm.  According to Symantec, most versions of Microsoft Windows are affected by this worm.  This worm will delete files of the following types:

• .mp3
• .avi
• mpg
• .mpeg
• .rar
